Covid-19 Travel Information

The coronavirus, Covid-19, is spreading around the world. The well-being of our guests and employees remains our highest priority. As always, we are going above and beyond to provide a clean and safe environment. All our hotels and restaurants within the Grand Group family are currently operating, and we would like to inform you that we have undertaken all necessary actions to minimize the risk of infection.

Given the current development of the Covid-19 virus in Sweden and abroad, we are closely monitoring the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and the Swedish health authorities’ recommendations.

Procedures to minimize the risk of infection:
• We are working constantly to ensure the latest advice on hygiene and cleaning are met. Besides our ordinary cleaning routine, we are focusing on cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces including door handles.
• We keep our employees informed about the current situation and regarding the importance of personal hygiene to reduce the risk of any infection, regardless of character, and to be observant of symptoms linked to Covid-19. All staff in service has undergone training in new routines.
• We have increased the use of antibacterial spray and hand sanitizer in both public and back of house areas.
• We have routines and guidelines on how to handle suspected cases of Covid-19.
• We are carefully following the development of the recommendation issued by the health authorities and are updating our procedures accordingly.

Front Office is responsible of all reception and public areas in the lobby including elevators, door handles, card machines, lobby chairs & tables. A secure distance is kept during check in and check-out: Rooming is explained during check in and only provided in-room upon request.

Housekeeping: In addition to our regular high standard housekeeping routines we disinfect areas extra carefully where the guests come in contact with for eg. light buttons, door handles, TV-remotes, hair dryer. We use high standard cleaning products and advanced technologies. Public toilettes are cleaned 2 times daily.

Food & Beverage: The Dining Room, the Terrace and the Patio have separated tables and guests are only serviced once a table is available which means no bar hanging & strictly “no seat – no service”. The breakfast is currently reduced with a selection of continental items and in addition we serve hot savouries and hot beverages by the table. Breakfast staff ensures everyone keeps their distance and are only allowed one at a time by the buffet. Take away and room service is possible to order and is only left inside the room upon request – otherwise outside the hotel room. All mingles and standing gatherings are strictly prohibited in all forms. All rooms service trays are wiped off after every use. Tables, chairs, card machines etc. are wiped off thoroughly after each guest.

During peak hours and weekend when we expect more guests to visit us a dedicated staff member ensures everyone has a table and keeps their distance in all outlets. Security staff is working annually all Fridays & Saturdays.

As per the new governmental regulations , starting on the 20th of November, the restaurant will close at 22:30 meaning final orders will be taken at 21:30. For hotel guests, room service will still be available.

Kitchen is responsible for daily documentation of HACCP routines, we have contracted controls of Anticimex as well as environment – and health authorities. Daily controls in hygiene, food, preparation- and accurate food storage.

Our cancellation policy:
Standard cancellation terms and conditions apply, the terms for specific bookings depend on which type of reservation you have made. This can be found on your booking confirmation. Nordic Spa & Fitness
To ensure there is no crowding, all guests must book a time slot with the Lydmar reception in order to be guaranteed access to the Gym & Spa. If a treatment is booked, you are granted entrance to the Spa as well. During peak periods such as Fridays & Saturdays we recommend a treatment to be booked to be able to enjoy the Spa.

Vi gör, precis som alltid, vårt yttersta för att erbjuda en säker och ren plats. Våra hotell och restauranger inom Grand Group har öppet som vanligt och vi vill att ni ska känna er trygga med att vi gör allt i vår makt för att minska risken för smittspridning och har vidtagit alla nödvändiga åtgärder.

Vi håller oss uppdaterade om utvecklingen och följer de rekommendationer, riktlinjer och instruktioner som ges av Folkhälsomyndigheten och andra nationella myndigheter.

Åtgärder för att minska risken för smittspridning:
• För oss är det en självklarhet att vi alltid följer och uppdaterar våra rutiner kring hygien och städning för att undvika virus i alla dess former, inklusive Covid-19. Utöver våra vanliga städrutiner fokuserar vi extra mycket på att rengöra och desinfektera ytor som ofta vidrörs, som till exempel dörrhandtag.
• Vi ser till att våra anställda är informerade om den rådande situationen och vilka åtgärder man ska ta för att förebygga eventuell smittspridning, enligt Folkhälsomyndighetens riktlinjer.
• Vi uppmuntrar våra anställda till att sköta handhygienen mer noggrant än vanligt samt vara extra observanta på symptom kopplade till Covid-19.
• Vi har ökat tillgången till handrengöring och desinfektionsmedel i både publika miljöer och personalutrymmen.
• Vi har tydliga rutiner och riktlinjer för hur vi ska handskas med misstänkt fall av Covid-19.
• Vi följer noggrant utvecklingen av Folkhälsomyndighetens rekommendationer och uppdaterar våra åtgärder därefter.

Avbokning:
