Lydmar – Slightly Different
It is now 15 years since Lydmar Hotel opened its doors on Blasieholmen as a pioneering lifestyle hotel in the middle of Stockholm. The hotel quickly gained attention for its design, its unique photography art collection and its diverse music scene. Since 2011, as the first hotel in Stockholm, Lydmar has been a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Visitors to Lydmar Hotel meet as if in a relaxed modern living room of the highest quality. The hotel’s staff deliver tailored top service with local knowledge and in a personal style. All rooms were renovated during 2018-2019 by Nude Ateljé, Eva-Lotta Axelson. In the context of “World Citizen”, Lydmar is updated with specially designed furniture and eclectically selected art objects with an international feel.
After 15 years at Blasieholmen, we can now count more than 60 photography exhibitions with photographs from all over the world. Many of the photographers are considered your personal friends. The majority of works from each exhibition remain and become part of the permanent art collection. Visitors to Lydmar Hotel can experience the collection in your room and public areas. New exciting works are added continuously and become part of your ongoing art journey.
